TPO is the most popular single-ply roof membrane in the United States today. TPO, or thermoplastic polyolefin, is heat-weldable and extremely UV-resistant.
TPO is the least expensive of the three major types of single-ply roof membrane in use today (EPDM, PVC, and TPO).
The heat-welded seams in a TPO roof system are exceptionally strong and remove adhesives from the equation. Unlike PVC, TPO does not rely on plasticizers to maintain flexibility over the life of the roof.
